We are almost at the end of the Bohol adventure, but with still a lot of things to explore. So let's get it started.
As I have mentioned on the Bohol Summer Adventure Part 1, I have already arranged our trip from day 1 to day 3. Since we're done sight-seeing on the first and second day in Bohol, it's time we move on to some water action.
Our next activity was the Panglao Island Hopping.
On this trip, don't forget to bring the following:
- Money, of course
- Camera
- Swimwear
- A pair of shades
- Sunblock
- Towel
- Snorkeling gears
The call time was 5:00 AM, our hired boat driver will be waiting for us on the beach, and we're off to set sail.
The reason why we have to be up so early was to spot some dolphins because they only resurface around that time. I wasn't able to capture them on camera though, but they're pretty awesome. I even saw one doing an exhibition.
After the Dolphin watching, we headed on to Bacalisag Island to do some snorkeling.
I would strongly suggest you bring your own snorkeling gears if you have one. Why? Number 1, renting snorkeling gears are very unhygienic, imagine numerous people had already put those gears in their mouth (gross), number 2, they over priced the renting fee of the gears especially during peak seasons where tourists have no other option but to pay.
Believe me, I know because it happened to us while we're there. It was quite disappointing, but we didn't let that ruin our trip, we paid for the overly priced unhygienic snorkeling gears and went on to some action. (We just thoroughly brushed our teeth and gargled when we got back to the hotel, hahaha)
The man behind me was our boat driver/ snorkeling guide. |
The snorkeling area wasn't too deep, though when you swim pass the blue railings, it's like diving underground like finding Nemo. |
Yeeess!!!! Snorkeling Completed!!! |
After getting sunburnt from snorkeling, we went to the Virgin Island. I'm not sure why they called it a Virgin Island, probably because there's no hotels, or bars. The place is just simply for admiration.
Virgin Island was really nice, white sand, and clear blue water, but again some of its architectures were under construction because of the earthquake.
My sister and I just took a dip and played around a little. |
Of course my parents brought their lovey dovey with them. hahahaha |
Then, we continued our day back in the hotel, enjoying the beach and the pool.
The following day, we just spent the whole morning relaxing, and preparing as we depart from Bohol and back to Manila.
Buffet breakfast anyone????? |
Our last breakfast in Bohol. |
This was the hammock that my sister and I were fighting over on whose turn it was to take a swing every night. hahahah |
So, I hope you also enjoy your Bohol adventure with your friends, family, or special someone.
Until next time....
