One of the most famous churches that Filipinos visit is the Our Lady of Manaoag Shrine in Dagupan Pangasinan. Devotees all over the country that visit the church believe that she makes miracles. Though there's nothing wrong having that belief, so carry on with your sincere prayers.
As we were about to head back to Manila from our Hundred Islands, Alaminos Pangasinan adventure, we decided to stop by at Our Lady of Manaoag Shrine to attend the Sunday mass. From Alaminos bus terminal, we rode a bus going to Dagupan, and it will drop you off at the Shrine.
When we got there, it was jam-packed, but luckily we got to find seats near the altar. The church was huge, and can really accommodate numerous people.
The church also has a small chapel at back for those people who wants to have a quiet time, and pray. If you also want to pray the rosary, you may.
At the back most end of the church also has a park, where family and friends can dine and let the little kids wander off to play.
After attending the mass, and a little sight seeing, there are buses bound for Manila parked just across the church, if you're unsure, be sure to ask around, there's a police station nearby, and there's a lot of security guards scattered in that place.
