WHERE TO STAY IN A-Li-Shan TAIWAN?

Alishan Forest Park is one of the tourist spots of Taiwan located at Chiayi county. It takes a long ride to get to the destination, then continued on sightseeing and hiking. Now, who wouldn’t want to kick off their shoes and jump on the bed for some relaxation?

There are a few hotels inside the Alishan Forest Park, and some at a distance away, but you have to book a room early on because it gets a little crowded during the holidays and weekends.

My mom and I booked a hotel at Agoda, and decided to choose the one that was just across Chiayi TRA (train railway) station, in that way we’re closer to commute and to shopping areas. We stayed at Shin Kao Hotel.

This is their lobby. You don't have to climb the stairs by the way, there's an elevator behind the reception area.

This is the room we stayed at, two queen-sized bed, with cable TV and a hair dryer.
I couldn't kick my sister off the bed, so there, she's my bed model. Hahaha

This is the bathroom, with hot and cold shower,  and complete toiletries such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste and brush, and towels.

And there's an available closet with hangers, and an extra bedding.

It was not a grand 5-star hotel, but the price was very reasonable, the staff were friendly, and by far we had a very pleasant stay.

Ps. Don’t miss out Chiayi’s night of fun. Have a night stroll around the town; shopping areas, restaurants and parks are close by.
