BIKE RIDE IN XIN ZHUANG, TAIPEI CITY

One of the many things I look forward to visiting Taiwan are bike rides around the city. The fact that commute is not as accessible as it is in the Philippines, riding bikes eliminate walking a distance from one place to the another. Well to cut the story short, NO WALKING!!! Hahaha

WHERE TO STAY IN A-Li-Shan TAIWAN?

Alishan Forest Park is one of the tourist spots of Taiwan located at Chiayi county. It takes a long ride to get to the destination, then continued on sightseeing and hiking. Now, who wouldn’t want to kick off their shoes and jump on the bed for some relaxation?

What does A-Li-Shan mean? “Shan” is the Chinese word for mountain, and “A-Li” is the name of the mountain. Alishan Forest Park covers 415km in area surrounded by mountains, villages, and waterfalls, and lies east of Chiayi, Taiwan.

A-Li-Shan National Scenic Area is one example of Taiwan’s natural preservation. The vast park covers nothing but trees, lakes, and rocks. It’s like they’ve created a whole new sanctuary dedicated for small-green people we see on movies.
