BACON-POTATO BABY BOMB

Thursday, November 19, 2015

I love to cook easy-to-do-recipes. It's fun, it's quick, and the ingredients are not hard to find.  So I tried to replicate the dish I saw on facebook and add a touch of Verllen style. Thought you guys might also like to give it a try!! Have fun!!

What you will need:
  1. Potatoes (of course you should not miss it, hehehe)
  2. Bacon (same comment as item #1)
  3. Eggs (at least 2)
  4. Flour
  5. Hotdogs cut into cubes for the stuffing (you may change it to ground pork, ham, cheese, or shredded chicken. You can also mix them up, depending on your preferences)
  6. Salt and Pepper to taste
  7. Toothpick
Now that's settled, Let's Get Started!!

First: Cook the potatoes on a salted boiling water for about 15-20 minutes until very tender. You can peel the potatoes and cut them into chunks before cooking, but I prefer to peel them off once they're cooked.

While waiting for the potatoes to be cooked, you can start frying the hotdogs in a separate pan, and set aside. You don't have to do this if your stuffing is cheese.

Second: Once the potatoes are done, drain the water and begin mashing them. Add the eggs, salt, and pepper. Beat until fluffy.

Third: Take a small scoop of mashed potato, put in the cubes of hotdogs in the middle and gently form it into a small ball.

Fourth: Roll that baby ball in the flour, wrap the potato bomb with the slice of bacon, and secure it with a toothpick.

Repeat the third and fourth step until all your potatoes are turned into baby bombs.

Fry them until all sides turned into golden brown.

Let them drain on a paper towel, and serve while warm. Then that's it! Your very own Bacon - Potato Baby Bombs!

EASY RIGHT?!?! Now it's your turn to try it. ENJOY making them like I do!!!
